U.S. bombers continue to hit Taliban and al Qaeda targets in eastern Afghanistan. Al Qaeda troops are regrouping at their bombed out bases, which often still contain food and ammo supplies.

The search for Osama bin Laden continues, although he is thought to be in Pakistan. Bin Laden may have shaved his beard and changed his clothes, but he can't escape the fact that he's over six feet tall and has a $25 million dollar reward on his head. More reward leaflets are being dropped in Pakistan pointing this out.

More U.S. ground troops moved (by helicopter) into eastern Pakistan to search al Qaeda bases.

Some American 1500 troops are going to the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo, Cuba to build and staff a prison camp for up to 2000 al Qaeda and Taliban prisoners.
