Pakistan and the Taliban reached an agreement on jointly fighting the drug trade flourishing in their border areas. Iran ordered it's border with Afghanistan sealed to stop the drug traffic. This means no one gets into Iran from Afghanistan unless they sneak in past the thousands of additional police and troops that are now guarding the frontier.
