PACIFIC OCEAN (May 20, 2012) An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113 flies supersonic over the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during an air power demonstration for embarked tiger cruise participants. Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 are underway on a tiger cruise after completing a deployment to the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
