GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 29, 2011) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Dragon Whales of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 picks up stores from the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Wally Shirra (T-AKE 8) to deliver to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island (LSD 41) during a vertical replenishment. Whidbey Island is deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
