St. Louis (Dec. 28, 2011) Members of the fleet survey team perform a break away while conducting formation exercises and coxswain training. The formation is made up of five hydrographic survey vessels and four expeditionary survey vessels. Both types of vessels are equipped with various sonar and global position systems to conduct hydrographic surveys.
