Afghans gather at Ahmad Shah Massoud’s tomb to pay respect to the National Hero of Afghanistan who was killed by a suicide bomber Sept. 9, 2001. The Massoud Foundation began the construction of the tomb February of 2007 and plans to build a museum, library, guest house and amphitheatre collocated with the tomb.
