Russia is now buying a coast defense version of its Kh-35 (SS-N-25) anti-ship missile. This weapon is very similar to the American Harpoon, being twelve feet long, weighing about half a ton, with a 320 pound warhead and a range of 130 kilometers. This missile has long been used by aircraft and surface ships. Coast defense units will begin receiving Kh-35s next year.
