The Air Force has activated the 76th Space Control Squadron, its first unit dedicated to counter-space technology. The new squadron will test theories and technologies of systems designed to thwart attacks on US space assets. Prototypes of advanced systems will be analyzed and used in future wargames to see how well they work with other units.--Stephen V Cole
