Hungary has selected the Swedish JAS39 Gryphon, asking to lease 14 of them for 12 years with an option to buy. Hungary is the first NATO customer for this Swedish fighter. Delivery will be in about two years. The Swedish Air Force will provide training for Hungarian pilots. Sweden will provide a few modifications needed to make the planes NATO-compatible. --Stephen V Cole
