Chinese fighters continue to shadow, and fly close to, American EP-3 reconnaissance aircraft flying off the Chinese coast (over international waters.) Unlike the situation two years ago, when a Chinese fighter came close enough to an EP-3 to collide with it, the current harassment flights don't usually come closer than 90 feet. But for a fast jet fighter, flying near a much slower propeller driven aircraft, that can be too close.
