Israel has been seeking a US industrial partner for the Arrow anti-missile system, hoping to sell the missiles to South Korea or Turkey. Israel recently announced that it would not select Lockheed Martin for this partner, since that company makes the Theater High Altitude Area Defense system and the Patriot PAC-3 missile. The Israelis felt that Lockheed Martin would be more interested in finding customers for those missiles than for Arrow. Israel is now reviewing offers of partnership from Boeing and Raytheon, which do not have products that would compete with Arrow.--Stephen V Cole
