The Army has begun using the Unitized Group Ration-A to feed troops in the field. Each pack has food for 50 troops, including utensils and condiments. The five breakfast menus (one per kit) each include meat, starch, eggs, juice, and desert. The ten lunch/dinner menus each include meat, starch, vegetables, fruit, drink, and desert. The unfortunately-named UGRAs are considered top-of-the-line food for troops, who by custom expect to be fed at least one "real" meal per day while in the field.--Stephen V Cole
