September 1; Alvis and Vickers have agreed to cooperate on the testing and development of a new Battle Management System for the Warrior AFV and Challenger-2 tank. The BMS is similar to the US digital ("nintendo") computer-driven systems that (at least in theory) track every known enemy unit and the supply status of all friendly forces.--Stephen V Cole
