Spain has committed $83.6 million to buy 270 Meteor Beyond-Visual Range air-to-air missiles, which are to be the primary armament for Eurofighter Typhoons, French Rafales, and Swedish JAS-39s. France, Sweden, and Britain have already committed their share of the money, while Germany and Italy are still trying to get funds from their parliaments.--Stephen V Cole
