McDonnell Douglas Helicopters has completed the required tests to qualify three weapons for the commercial version of its MD Explorer helicopter. These include a pod-mounted M2 fifty caliber machinegun, a rocket pod with seven 70mm rockets, and a GAU-19A fifty-caliber gatling gun.
