The Pakistani Army is testing a batch of four twin-barrel 37mm anti-aircraft guns built in China. The basic version of the weapons (in service for many years) has manual tracking and elevation, controlled by a gunner on the gun mount looking through an optical sight. The new system, however, uses a separate gunsight on a tripod located a few meters from the guns. This sight includes a laser rangefinder and controls up to four twin-barrel guns through a computer.--Stephen V Cole
