Sweden's RBS-23 medium-range anti-aircraft missile program has survived the latest round of budget cuts for the Swedish military. General Wiktorin recommended that the government force the two Swedish missile companies (Bofors Missiles and Saab Dynamics) to merge, as the country can no longer support two companies building the same category of products.--Stephen V Cole
