Britain has been more aggressive at hunting down people and groups smuggling weapons to Iran. Currently, there are at least half a dozen cases, including the export of ballistic missile components. This is going on in the U.S. as well, because the Iranians are keen on upgrading the accuracy of their ballistic missiles. In Britain, the Iranians offer several times the going price for all manner of items, like aircraft components and weapons made for British commandoes. The Iranians have been running these smuggling operations for over two decades, and no amount of police action against them, has slowed it down.
