Discussion Board on this DLS topic
The U.S. Marine Corps has long stressed the importance of appearance. A new regulation has decreed that marines in uniform cannot have any visible electronic equipment (usually cell phones). This includes cell phones, or any other electronic gadgets, issued to a marine. Combat uniforms have numerous pockets to store electronic gadgets in, but many marines have been seen with cell phones attached to belts. No more.
